Visitor Information

The garden has got everything a garden enthusiast needs: plants, plants and more plants, secret corners, winding paths, thriving shrubs, towering trees, lush green. Do not visit Penjerrick, however, if you prefer neatly laid out flower beds or if you are looking for a cup of tea - you will not find either of it here. It is 'just' a garden - and that's all we could wish for.
The garden is open 1 March-30 September, Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, 13:30-16:30. Coach parties (preferably morning visits) will need to pre-book.
This spring-flowering garden is at its best in April and May but also interesting in summer and autumn. Towards the summer, the paths get more and more overgrown.
Dogs are welcome on leads. There are no cafe and toilets ( a hotel with restaurant is situated opposite the main gate).
Unfortunately the garden is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Make sure you wear comfortable footwear as the paths may be slippery. In my own experience - Children, wear wellies!
Please pay the entry fee at the honesty box, Adults: £ 2.50, Children: £1.00 (2004).
This is the address of the Garden: Mrs Rachel Morin, Penjerrick Garden, Budock, Falmouth, TR11 5ED, Tel:(01872) 870105.
Penjerrick Garden is situated about three miles south-west of Falmouth. Coming from the A39, initially follow the signs for Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens and, after three miles off the A39, you cannot not miss the signs for Penjerrick. Please feel free to park on the grass verge along the drive. Click for a map.
